Lyrics / Prompt

It was Christmas Eve: I was sound asleep in my room upstairs when I heard some funny noises downstairs so I went down to see what it could be and lo and behold there was Santa putting gifts under the tree. So I asked if there was anything for me. He said well let me see.
Have you been naughty or nice, and I said nice, Hmm, he said that's not what I have in my report, He pulls out a piece of paper and reads to me out loud, It says here that in spite of your husband's undivided attention all year, you have neglected his needs on many occasions, as for example not greeting him warmly when he arrives home from the office and instead of sitting him down in his favorite armchair and fetching his slippers and getting him a nice cold drink.you attend to your own needs and complain what a terrible day you had, Is this true?
So instead of answering, I gave Santa a push and told him I was not his slave, Then we both laughed and kissed and made up and went back up to bed.
